
Thomas William Selleck is an American actor from America. His first big role was the role of a private investigator Thomas Magnum in the television series Magnum, P.I. He was nominated for five Emmy Awards as Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series (1980-1988) in the 1980-88 season, and received the Emmy Award in 1985. Since the year 2010, Selleck has been co-starring as New York City Police Commissioner Frank Reagan in the series Blue Bloods. Since 2005, he's played the role of Jesse Stone, a troubled police chief from a small town in New York City. The actor has also played in nine TV films inspired by Robert B. Parker novels. Selleck has also been seen in movies as Peter Mitchell, a bachelor architect, in Three Men and a Baby (1987) as well as Three Men and a Little Lady (90). In addition to his roles in Magnum, P.I., Selleck has been seen in over 50 other movies and television shows. Baseball and Lassiter.
