Charissa Thompson
Thompson left FOX Sports, and began hosting the show for Versus Sports and Yahoo Sports. Thompson hosted Versus' NHL coverage in the studio, and also produced web-based content for Yahoo's heavily-shopped platform. Thompson helmed the website's presence during high-profile sports events like The 2010 Winter Olympics and FIFA World Cup. Success in both arenas resulted in her being a part of ESPN on August 11, 2011 when she was chosen as host of ESPN's newest afternoon show "Numbers Never lie." The show was a part of"SportsNation," the "SportsNation" company in July of 2012. The show was an enormous success which she continued to host until May 2013, when she returned in Los Angeles to launch FS1. Thompson is an avid athlete, and she has shown the flexibility needed to move into entertainment. She was tapped as a co-host of"Extra," a Hollywood newspaper "Extra" on June 2014 following a string of part-time gigs. She filmed episodes in Universal Studios and also worked at award shows, celebrity parties and various other gatherings.
