Kari Wuhrer was born on April 28th, 1967. She is an American performer and singer. Wuhrer started her acting career when she was as a teenager. Her best-known character was for her role as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders as well as her role as Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. There are three of her siblings. As a teenager, she sang in nightclubs and would sneak out of the family home to perform. Kari was first introduced to acting at the age of 13 and got her big break in 1987 when she appeared on MTV Remote Control.
