Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson hails from the American continent and works as a performer, actor, writer/singer/director. Her most famous role is playing Tara Maclay from the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson is also the director of her own films Chance, Lovers Liars & Lunatics and was the lead actress in them. Also, she starred in Kiss the Bride. Benson was born on the 8th of January 1977 in Birmingham Alabama the daughter of Diane and Edward Benson a psychiatrist. She has a younger sister Danielle, who has a career as an artist. Benson was born to a father who is Jewish as is her mother Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue. Benson, who has been involved in numerous TV and movie series since Buffy finished up, including The Killing Jar.
